I think humanity’s first true act of creativity was to invent gods. Looking up at any mass of clouds, it’s to imagine how beings of a higher order could make of them their home. We’d be mere insects to the people of the clouds. Our life could be at their whim. What catastrophes could occur if we didn’t appease them? Who could possibly intercede with the gods on our behalf?
Aw man, Daniel Irizarri. This is byoo-dee-fool, mannn...
What you wrote beneath was too deep for one such as myself to ponder so I'm just gonna sit here for a few minutes to appreciate the stunning work you created instead. Dreamy stuff, fo real.
thanks, Mic! The goal with this piece was to confront, and if you take any time at all to think about it and what it represents, then I succeeded as an artist.
Hermoso uso de colores man!, me gusta como presentastes al diety parado haciendo nada, me hace sentir como si estuviera esperando que algo ocurriera. De echo, hasta parece que es invisible a las personitas en el fondo
But yeah, I guess that's how people used to roll. Infact, it seemed spiritual back then, how people would fear yet appreicate everything that happened around them, River Gods, Wind Gods, Fire etc.. Now it's all just.. meh.
By the way, do you use Corel, Photoshop or what? cause your painting is always looking mighty good
Photoshop. I try to keep most of my work at one layer so there is a lot of painting over and playing with trasperency in the brush to create levels of tones. Me alegra tu interpretacion con respecto a la obra y su, mucho de lo que dices puede ser cierto.

Peace.
