i don't know what to think of this paint sketch. i mean, i like it, it served its purpose (draw something that wasn't a mecha reign page.) but something about it is off for me. then again, i might be crazy, so i can't really judge.

what say you?

well it's a sketchy- so don't really feel like critiqing but since you asked I will do it for you. :)
Someone already said values- I agree. But as for Capt. He could have more emotion to his face (not necessarily rage, but even muscular straining from the exersion of jumping from a blast etc would do) and it'd be great to extend his shooting arm all the way out instead of tucked in. Last, I guess would be the cross shaped gun flash shape and the little photon blast thingies- hehehe- I'm just teasin, but yeah, could be that too.
All that aside, it's a neat and action packed sketch... lotta war imagry rolled into one.

yeah i really kinda hate this drawing and wanna scap it. it has no merit to me, really. it was an ok idea, but i just was NOT in the mood of putting in any effort to it. all of your points are completely valid here.

I like the angle of the drawing and all of the action surrounding Cap, maybe it's his calmness that is a little bit off? A grimace or yell would be more appropriate to match all the chaos going on around him. Just my two cents.
