This is an experiment in seeing if I can apply what I learned in screen-printing class and translate the analog carving technique with an equivalent digital simulation. I’m pretty happy with the results, and I’ll be darned if I might not end up using this technique for future projects.
I haven't done block printing in ages, but it really is satisfying. I always liked how despite the inherent uniformity, different printings would have different character. Just a bit of the unexpected to keep things interesting.
thanks man! I'm hoping to exploit this little experiment in the future in possible sequential work. you know, something that actually feels puerto rican.

Peace.
